Welcome to Inkling Oracle, made by Higher Vibe Alchemy (“we,” “us,” “our”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
What Inkling Oracle is
Inkling Oracle draws a random passage from a book you choose, as a starting point for reflection, and lets you save your own written responses in a personal journal. It is a tool for reflection and entertainment.
It is not professional advice. Nothing in the app is a substitute for guidance from a qualified doctor, therapist, counselor, attorney, financial advisor, or other licensed professional. If you’re facing a decision or a struggle that needs real expertise or support, please seek it from a qualified person, not a random passage from a book.
The texts in the app
Every book in Inkling Oracle is in the public domain — meaning its copyright has expired and it belongs to everyone. We credit each author, translator, and original publication date within the app. We don’t claim ownership over the original texts themselves; what belongs to us is the app itself, its design, the selection and presentation of passages, and the Inkling Oracle name and branding.
Your journal entries
What you write in your journal is yours. It’s stored locally on your own device (see our [Privacy Policy] for details) and we never see it, access it, or claim any rights to it.
Inkling Plus (subscriptions and purchases)
Inkling Plus unlocks additional books and features. If you purchase a subscription:
It is billed and managed entirely through your Apple ID / App Store account, not by
us directly. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end
of the current period. You can manage or cancel anytime in your device’s App Store
account settings.
Refunds are handled by Apple according to their own policies, not by us — we don’t
have the ability to issue refunds directly.
Prices are as displayed in the App Store at the time of purchase and may change in
the future.
Age requirement
Inkling Oracle is not directed at children under 13. By using the app, you confirm you
meet this minimum age, or are using the app with the consent of a parent or guardian.
What we ask you not to do
Please don’t try to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the app; use it for anything illegal; or
attempt to disrupt or interfere with how it works.
No warranty
Inkling Oracle is provided “as is.” We’ve built it with care, but we can’t guarantee it will
always be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly suited to your particular needs.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Higher Vibe Alchemy is not liable for any indirect,
incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability
for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12
months, if any.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app grows. If we do, we’ll update the effective date
above. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to
conflict-of-law principles.
